Born and raised on the East Coast, spending summers in England with her British family, and now at home in California, Charlotte Macaulay has been honing her eye for design along the way.
From a young age watching her author/illustrator father find success by doing what he loved and working for himself, she first got a taste of the entrepreneurial life. After graduating from Parsons, a creative future began to take shape. Up until now, she has spent her career leading design teams and developing collections for accessories giants, like Clare V., Kate Spade, Coach and Stella & Dot. But after 15 years of accessories design, Charlotte found herself at a life moment where she wanted more from the pieces she created.
She saw an opportunity in fine jewelry for something with more personality, color, and community. In early 2023, Charlotte founded Ben, a brand that offers a sense of reflection upon what has been and all there is still left to come.
